Role Summary:
AECOM is looking for experienced Project Managers to lead PMC/project management activities for large-scale Transmission Line (TL), Substation (SS), HVDC/HVAC and power infrastructure projects . The role will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, contractor management, planning, stakeholder coordination, quality, HSE, commercial and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end PMC/project management for transmission line and substation projects.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, OEMs, clients and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality and HSE .
• Review contractor schedules, construction methodology, resource plans and progress.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning .
• Monitor critical activities, delays and recovery/acceleration plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary interfaces across Electrical, Civil, Protection, SCADA/Telecom and Construction .
• Review contractor claims, variations, EOTs and milestone/payment submissions.
• Identify project risks and drive mitigation and corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and prepare project dashboards/reports.
• Support pre-commissioning, energization, handover and project close-out .

Requirements:

• Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate with 15+ years of relevant experience .
• Strong experience in Transmission Line and Substation projects .
• Experience with major EHV projects – preferably 400 kV / 765 kV .
• Experience in PMC / Owner's Engineer / EPC Project Management preferred.
• Exposure to HVDC, GIS, power transformers, reactors, protection and SCADA will be an advantage.
• Strong contractor, client and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project controls, contracts, quality and HSE.
• Willingness to work from Pune/South Kalambh and travel to project sites as required.
