Accountant/Account Specialist

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 2-5+ years of experience, preferably in the Construction Chemicals industry , to handle day-to-day accounting, accounts payable, reconciliations and invoice processing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor/employee invoices and bills.
• Handle Accounts Payable, vendor ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
• Manage customer/vendor account reconciliation and invoice follow-ups.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Logistics and Sales for accounting-related activities.
• Handle SAP FICO transactions, vendor creation and invoice posting.
• Coordinate for MIGO/GRN-related corrections and invoice discrepancies.
• Support VAT-related accounting and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, audits and account finalization.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
• Prepare payment advice and support other day-to-day finance activities.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Mandatory: Experience in Construction Chemicals industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, invoicing, reconciliations and vendor accounting.
• Working knowledge of SAP FICO; Tally knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
