Role Overview

Lead Finance & Accounts functions for a major seaport organization, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, audits, compliance, payroll, ERP systems and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS.
• Oversee MIS, financial consolidation, budget vs. actual analysis and forecasting .
• Manage statutory, internal and government audits and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, labour laws and financial regulations .
• Oversee AR, AP, GL and Payroll functions.
• Lead annual budgeting, cost control and financial planning .
• Manage and optimize Oracle ERP Financial Systems , including automation and upgrades.
• Conduct project feasibility, profitability and CAPEX analysis .
• Develop/review tariffs for new and existing services .
• Drive the Performance Management System, KPIs and Balanced Scorecard .
• Support senior management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations .
• Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, IT, HR and other stakeholders .

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CA – Mandatory
• MBA Finance / CS – Preferred 
• Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong managerial experience in the Seaport / Maritime industry .
• Proven Oracle ERP Financial Systems experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and UAE regulations .
• Experience in audits, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and team management .
• Exposure to KPIs, Performance Management and Balanced Scorecard .
