About the role
- Design the complete high-pressure hydraulic system (3,000–5,000 PSI) including pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, and filtration
- Design/selection of high-pressure lift cylinders
- Selection of pressure pump
- Calculation of required system flow rate
- Sizing of all pressure lines and cylinder ports according to fluid velocity
- Selection of spool proportional directional control valve equivalent handling the pressure range and flow rate
- Thermal Evaluation: Evaluation of heat generation caused by pressure drops across hydraulic system and cooling required
