Responsible for managing the complete engineering scope of substation
projects—from
design
and vendor coordination to project execution support—ensuring on-time
delivery, quality compliance, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate design deliverables to meet project schedules
and client requirements.

Review and validate technical drawings, calculations, and vendor
documents.

Collaborate with project planning, procurement, and execution teams
for seamless project delivery.

Resolve design and material issues, enabling timely site execution.

Drive BIM implementation, design standardization, and process efficiency.

Support tendering, BOQ verification, and technical clarifications.

Guide and mentor design engineers, ensuring resource optimization and
skill development.

Interface with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure technical
compliance and approvals.
Qualification & Experience:
Education: B.E.
/ B.Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Experience
: Minimum
15+
years
in substation engineering and design, with experience in GIS/AIS substations
(up to 765 kV) and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge in
primary & secondary engineering
for GIS/AIS substations up to 765 kV.

Proficient in equipment selection (transformers, CBs, CTs, isolators,
reactors, etc.).

Understanding of earthing, lighting, cabling, SCADA, and control &
protection schemes.

Experience with vendor engineering and utility specifications.
Software Skills:

MS Office (essential), AutoCAD, ETAP, PSCAD, CYMGRD, and
ASPEN
(preferred).
