Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Supervision
Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities including foundations, RCC
works, structural works, flooring, roads, drainage, and external development.
Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, standards, and
project schedules.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely progress.
2. Quality Control & Compliance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and workmanship meet and client
standards.
Review and verify material quality, test reports, mix designs, and
workmanship.
Implement corrective actions for any deviations observed on-site.
3. Project Planning & Documentation
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS), material reconciliation, and
quantity estimation.
Maintain updated records of site drawings, changes, and approvals.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and PMC for
smooth project execution.
Attend site meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors.
Ensure seamless communication between site team and the project management
office.
5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
Promote safe working practices and ensure PPE usage on-site.
Assist HSE officers in conducting safety audits and toolbox talks.
6. Procurement & Material Management
Monitor availability and proper usage of construction materials.
Raise material requisitions and follow up with procurement teams.
Verify contractor bills against actual work executed.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, industrial construction
methods, and standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of industrial building codes and factory norms.
