PBI Developer with GCP Exp

Role Overview:

• Design, develop, and maintain Airflow DAGs for orchestrating data ingestion,
transformation, and reporting workflows within GCP.
• Build and optimize BigQuery-based ELT pipelines to support enterprise reporting and
analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with Analytics SMEs and business stakeholders to understand requirements
and define scalable data solutions.
• Streamline and standardize data transformation logic to improve data quality,
maintainability, and reporting efficiency.
• Develop reusable data processing frameworks, parameterized DAGs, and automated
workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Design and develop Power BI datasets, data models, Power Query transformations,
DAX measures, and dashboards.
• Optimize BigQuery queries, Airflow workflows, and Power BI reports for performance,
scalability, and cost effectiveness.
• Implement data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and validation controls across data pipelines.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Airflow DAGs, BigQuery processing, data refreshes, and Power BI reports.
• Provide regular status updates and maintain project tracking artifacts to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, pipeline architecture, source-to-target mappings, and operational runbooks.
• Support deployment, release management, and CI/CD processes for data engineering and reporting solutions.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices within the GCP ecosystem.
