Role Overview:
To independently assess, underwrite, and monitor credit proposals for Large Corporates and Multinational Corporations (MNCs), ensuring sound credit decisions through comprehensive financial, business, industry, and risk analysis while maintaining compliance with the Bank's credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed Credit Risk Assessment Notes (CRANs)/Credit Appraisal Memorandums for Large Corporates and MNC Clients
· Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, cash flows, capital structure, business models, management quality, and industry dynamics.
· Evaluate creditworthiness, identify key risks, and recommend appropriate credit structures, covenants, and mitigants
· Engage with Relationship Managers and clients to obtain relevant financial and operational information required for credit assessment.
· Assess working capital requirements, cash flow adequacy, debt servicing capability, and overall borrowing needs.
· Prepare periodic portfolio reviews and Monthly Monitoring Reports (MMRs) highlighting key developments, risks, and account performance.
· Identify early warning signals, exceptions, and covenant breaches, and recommend corrective action plans.
· Conduct customer/unit visits and prepare detailed inspection and monitoring reports.
Job Requirements:
· CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
· 3-8 years of experience in Credit Underwriting, Credit Risk esp in Wholesale Banking Credit.
· Experience in evaluating Large Corporate, Mid-Corporate, or MNC credit proposals is preferred.
· Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, cash flow assessment, and credit structuring.
· Familiarity with RBI regulations, SEBI guidelines, and relevant statutory/regulatory frameworks.
· Ability to analyze industry trends, business risks, and macroeconomic factors impacting credit quality.
