Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced System Assurance & RAMS Manager to lead and manage all System Assurance and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) activities across the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with international railway standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements while supporting the safe, reliable, and successful delivery of rail projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project RAMS Plan in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead System Assurance and RAMS activities throughout design, manufacturing, installation, testing & commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Perform and manage RAMS analyses, including FTA, FMEA, HAZOP, Hazard Log management, and Safety Case development.
- Coordinate with Independent Safety Assessors (ISA), regulatory authorities (RTA/SRA), clients, contractors, and engineering teams to achieve project certification.
- Ensure system assurance requirements are integrated into engineering deliverables and maintain full requirements traceability.
- Monitor RAMS performance, identify project risks, recommend mitigation measures, and prepare technical reports and compliance documentation.
- Develop RAMS procedures, tools, training programs, and technical documentation to support project delivery and operational handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 14+ years of experience in System Assurance and RAMS within Metro and Railway projects.
- Strong knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 , Safety Case development, Hazard Management, FTA, FMEA, and HAZOP.
- Experience working with Independent Safety Assessors (ISA) and railway regulatory authorities.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
