Job Description -

Head of Vigilance for Micro LAP (Loan Against Property) is a senior leadership role responsible for preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud and misconduct in small-ticket mortgage lending. They oversee compliance with RBI guidelines and internal policies, conduct risk-based audits, and manage investigations into staff or borrower fraud to protect the institution's assets

Key Responsibilities
* Proactive/Preventive Vigilance: Develop systems and procedures to identify fraud-prone areas, especially in documentation, valuation, and legal title verification.
* Investigative & Punitive Role: Conduct surprise inspections and thorough investigations into fraud, misrepresentation, or delinquency cases, and initiate disciplinary or legal action.
* Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to RBI, CVC, and internal guidelines; manage regular reporting to management and regulators regarding vigilance cases.
* Risk Mitigation: Analyze root causes of fraud to strengthen credit policies, post-disbursement monitoring, and underwriting processes for Micro LAP products.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of investigators, auditors, and surveillance staff across regions
