Infrastructure Automation–Focused Cloud Ops SRE Engineer
Job Summary:
As an Infrastructure Automation–Focused Cloud Ops SRE Engineer, you will
design, automate, and optimize both public and private cloud environments to
support scalable, secure, and self‑healing platforms. This role combines
modern Infrastructure‑as‑Code and SRE practices to drive automation across
provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operations, ultimately enhancing
the reliability and efficiency of our hybrid and multi‑cloud ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions for
public and private cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, and
GitOps workflows.

Build automated provisioning pipelines for cloud resources, private cloud
clusters, Kubernetes platforms, and supporting infrastructure services.

Automate environment creation, configuration management, patching, resource
scaling, and operational workflows to minimize manual effort.

Operate and optimize hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and
Private Cloud platforms (VMware, Nutanix, etc.).

Implement automated remediation and self‑healing workflows to enhance
reliability and availability across all environments.

Drive cost and capacity optimization for public and private cloud resources
using automated telemetry and scaling.

Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for both public and private
cloud services.
Requirements:

Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
private cloud solutions such as VMware vSphere, OpenStack, or Nutanix.

Deep experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, Ansible,
Pulumi).

Proficiency with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor,
ELK).

Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

Knowledge of cloud and private cloud security, compliance, and automated
policy enforcement.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architectures is a
plus.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD).

Certifications in cloud or private cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP,
VMware, Nutanix).

Strong communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to participate
in on-call rotations.
