Manager / Assistant Manager – HVAC

Key Responsibilities

• Review HVAC designs, drawings, and technical specifications for Data Centre projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor HVAC installation, execution, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Validate HVAC system performance and ensure adherence to project quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and RFIs.
• Identify technical issues during execution and recommend practical solutions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and quality standards are achieved.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure smooth handover of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Data Centre requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Data Centre HVAC projects is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems including Chillers, AHUs, CRAC/CRAH units, ventilation systems, chilled water systems, and associated mechanical services.
• Hands-on experience in site execution, design review, commissioning, and project coordination.
• Should not be a pure HVAC Design Engineer; candidates should have execution and site management exposure.
• Experience working with developers, EPC companies, Data Centre operators, or MEP contractors will be preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
