Data Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 6-9 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decisions and developing machine learning models that enhance our business operations and customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze complex datasets using Python (Pandas/Numpy) to derive actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Utilize PySpark for large-scale data processing and ensure efficient data workflows within our systems.
Develop and implement machine learning models applying algorithms and performance metrics to improve predictive outcomes.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to uncover patterns and enhance model performance.
Maintain and monitor deployed models to ensure high performance and reliability over time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data science efforts with business goals and deliver innovative solutions.
Communicate findings effectively through data visualizations and reports to stakeholders at various levels.

Requirements:

6-9 years of experience in data science or a related field, with a strong focus on Python and SQL.
Proficient in using Pandas and Numpy libraries for data manipulation and analysis.
Hands-on experience with PySpark and large dataset processing frameworks.
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, performance metrics, and model monitoring techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Background in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R or Java.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data projects.
