Asst. Mgr -F&A Insurance

Basic Function

·          Ensure end to end operations management for Financial   reporting, disclosures, Surveys etc.

·          Prepare of critical journal entries, GAAP/STAT supplements and Notes to accounts before submission to onshore team

·          Support quarterly/annual audits by internal auditors, as well as, independent external auditors

·          Understand & anticipate clients’ business needs/concerns, etc. & proactively resolve the same

·          Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhanced controls

·          Ensure adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

·          Established work experience in financial management roles with heavy data-focus

·          Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp Reporting requirements for new FM teams.

·          Strong affinity / curiosity for financial systems and implementing process efficiencies.

·          Ability to adeptly summarize detailed & complex financial information for senior audiences.

·          Ownership of processes, reports, procedures or products. Subject Matter

Desired Skill Sets, Work Experience & Other Requirements

·          MBA / Graduate / Post-Graduate in Finance with 4+ years of experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting (GAAP & STAT)

·          Knowledge of IGAAP and STAT accounting principles, other reporting requirements

·          Hands on experience on Orange, Blue, Yellow or Green blanks

·          Capable of working with tight deadlines with efficiency

·          Experience with financial reporting applications (Oracle,, Workiva)

·          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
