Role Overview
The candidate will own end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR), denial management, patient billing, and revenue cycle performance for US healthcare providers.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of US medical billing experience
- Deep expertise in AR and denial management
- Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid & Commercial payers
- Strong payer communication skills
- Hands-on experience with billing software and clearinghouses
- Ability to lead 2–5 team members
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Denial Management
- Manage AR follow-ups across all aging buckets
- Lead denial analysis and appeals process
Billing & Insurance Handling
- Handle insurance verification escalations
- Manage patient billing inquiries and collections
Performance & Reporting
- Track and improve KPIs (FPR, Denial %, Net Collection Rate)
- Prepare client reports (weekly/monthly dashboards)
Coordination & Process Improvement
- Coordinate with coding and claims teams
- Drive process improvement and SOP creation
