Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. In this role, you will harness the power of Google Cloud Platform to develop and optimize data pipelines, driving insights that impact critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data processing frameworks using GCP services.
• Develop efficient data pipelines with Python and PySpark for data ingestion and transformation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and maintainability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing ETL processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Document technical specifications and data architecture diagrams for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data engineering and GCP technologies to suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data processing libraries.
• Experience with PySpark/Python and handling large datasets.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience in query optimization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibility to collaborate remotely and on-site.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other cloud platforms and data engineering tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data analysis techniques.
• Certifications in Google Cloud (GCP) or Data Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
