Role Purpose
The Senior Manager – FP&A will act as the
financial control tower for a multi-country Data Centre and AI
infrastructure platform
, owning the end-to-end financial lifecycle of projects from
greenfield feasibility and investment appraisal through CAPEX, procurement,
budgeting, forecasting, actuals and post-investment review
.
The role will build and strengthen financial models, cost structures,
reporting frameworks and automation to support business growth and provide
high-quality insights to the
CFO, Chairman and investors
.
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and own
project and platform-level financial models
covering IRR, NPV, DCF, DSCR, equity returns, WACC and scenario/sensitivity
analysis.
-
Develop
Data Centre feasibility and investment cases
, including land, power, grid/substation, construction costs, MW ramp-up and
time-to-energisation.
-
Evaluate commercial models such as
wholesale/retail colocation, powered shell, build-to-suit and GPU/AI-cloud
.
-
Lead
CAPEX planning and control
, including sanctioned budget, committed/incurred costs, cost-to-complete,
EAC, contingencies and variation orders.
-
Partner with Procurement, Design and Construction on
EPC and major equipment packages
including transformers, switchgear, UPS, batteries, cooling systems and
IT/GPU infrastructure.

Manage
OPEX planning
, energy costs, unit economics, benchmarking and margin improvement
initiatives.
-
Lead
annual budgeting, strategic planning, rolling forecasts and
month/quarter-end actuals
, with detailed driver-based variance analysis.
-
Prepare
CFO/MD/Chairman-level MIS, P&L, EBITDA bridge, CAPEX, cash-flow and
KPI reporting
.

Develop and maintain Data Centre KPIs including
MW contracted/energised, utilisation, revenue per MW, EBITDA margin, PUE,
CAPEX per MW and ROIC
.

Drive
automation and reporting transformation
using Power BI, DAX, advanced Excel and Python.
-
Ensure integration between
ERP/EPM, procurement, project cost systems and GL
, maintaining a single source of truth.

Act as finance business partner to
Design, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Commercial and Legal
, identifying financial risks and recommending mitigation.
Key Requirements
-
CA / MBA Finance
or equivalent finance qualification from a recognised institution.

8–12 years
of progressive finance experience, including
3+ years at Manager/Senior Manager level
.

Experience in
Data Centres, Digital Infrastructure, Power & Energy, Telecom,
Industrial Infrastructure or large-scale Real Estate Development
.

Strong hands-on experience in
financial modelling, investment appraisal, project finance and debt
structuring
.

Proven experience in
large CAPEX projects, procurement finance, EAC/cost-to-complete and
contract commercial analysis
.

Strong knowledge of
budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting
.
-
Advanced
Excel and financial modelling
skills.

Hands-on
Power BI + data modelling + DAX
experience.

Working knowledge of
Python for finance/reporting automation
.

Knowledge of
IFRS
, particularly capitalisation, leases and revenue recognition.

Exposure to
ERP/EPM platforms and project accounting

Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to
CFO/Board/Investment Committee
