Job Purpose

Knight Frank is looking for an energetic and technically sound professional to manage facility operations at our premium corporate banking site for Kotak Mahindra Bank in Chennai. You will represent Knight Frank's gold standards in Facility Management, bridging Technical (Hard) Services and Operational (Soft) Services . Excellent communication skills are mandatory to handle high-profile banking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tech & Hard Services Management

• Oversee daily operations of building infrastructure, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC/Air Conditioning, and UPS/DG backup systems critical for continuous banking operations.

• Monitor daily engineering checklists and ensure the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) of all critical equipment is executed on schedule.

• Coordinate swiftly with vendors during sudden technical breakdowns to ensure zero interruption to bank operations.

• Ensure full compliance with Knight Frank safety protocols, fire alarm systems, and emergency evacuation guidelines.

2. Soft Services & Operations

• Supervise housekeeping, deep cleaning, and janitorial teams to maintain Knight Frank's premium cleanliness and hygiene standards.

• Coordinate closely with the site security team for strict access control, visitor logs, and CCTV monitoring.

• Manage pantry operations, office stationery, and corporate consumables inventory.

3. Stakeholder Communication & Vendor Management

• Act as Knight Frank's on-site representative to resolve bank employees' facility-related queries and complaints promptly.

• Manage third-party vendors and track their performance against strict SLAs and KPIs .

• Maintain accurate operational logs, asset registers, and assist in compiling Knight Frank's monthly facility reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience handling facilities in a corporate office, bank, or MNC environment.

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Hotel Management, or any Graduate with relevant corporate facility experience.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Tamil is a major advantage for managing ground-level technicians and janitorial staff.
