Data Engineer
Job Summary:
The Data Engineer plays a critical role in building and maintaining robust
data pipelines that enable efficient data processing and analytics. By
leveraging ETL tools and best practices, the Data Engineer ensures that
high-quality, reliable data is accessible to drive strategic decisions within
the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load
data from various sources into a centralized data storage solution.

Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Pyspark to ensure
timely and accurate data delivery.

Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data
requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.

Optimize and refactor existing data workflows to improve performance and
efficiency.

Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing validation and monitoring
mechanisms throughout the data processing lifecycle.

Deploy and manage data solutions in Snowflake, ensuring optimal use of cloud
resources.

Document data flows, processes, and technical designs to maintain
transparency and facilitate onboarding of new team members.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a strong
foundation in ETL development.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing technologies,
specifically Snowflake.

Hands-on experience with Python and Pyspark for data processing tasks.

Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in large-scale
data systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data
solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
