Expense Accounting

Key Responsibility Areas including preferred Skills and Experience

 Understanding of Expenses Accounting functions and MJE’s such as Accruals, Prepaid,
Month end closing,
 Should be able to drive the client calls and perform as subject matter expert to handle the
trouble shooting and query handling for the team
 Sound knowledge of ERP systems and applications used for MJE posting, Reconciliation
preparation, Data extraction and reports preparation
 Understanding of type of Accruals schedule, Prepaid schedule, Lease schedules,
amortization and BS recs and should be able to review and approve the same
 Should have knowledge of AP side of things like Invoice processing, T&E and supplier set
up
 Experience in Analyzing expense reports and highlighting any unprecedented balances
 Perform review and approval for the month end closing and reporting- Allocation run,
preparation of Intercompany accounting and Knowledge of assets accounting

Competencies:
 Profound knowledge of MS office – Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI would be added
advantage
 Good communication both written and verbal
 Good knowledge of Expenses Accounting for UK insurance
 Ability to prioritize & multi-task
 Exhibits meticulous attention to detail

Mode of Employment - Initial 9-12 months 100% WFO, Post that Hybrid, as per situation and process status
Shift Timing - Evening/Night - Starts 3 PM/Starts 5PM
