Back End Engineer

Job Summary:

We are searching for a skilled Back End Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and implement server-side architecture, ensuring high performance and responsiveness for our applications, while collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust and scalable back-end services using Python and Java.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
Optimize applications for speed and scalability on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in back-end development, preferably with a focus on Python and Java.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
Experienced in working with databases, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservices architecture and related tools.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of security best practices in software development.
Prior experience in agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
