Job Summary:

The Manager of HVAC Systems will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems within our data center facilities. This position is essential to ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance of our cooling infrastructures, thus directly impacting our operational effectiveness and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning and implementation of HVAC projects, ensuring timely execution within budget constraints.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems to optimize performance and reliability in data center environments.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement energy-efficient solutions that align with company sustainability initiatives.
• Develop training programs for engineering staff on HVAC operations and best practices for data centers.
• Prepare and manage budgets related to HVAC operations and projects, tracking expenditures and forecasting needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors, facilitating seamless project execution and maintenance support.

Requirements:

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing HVAC systems in data center environments.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC design principles, system efficiency, and energy conservation technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on troubleshooting HVAC system issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and compliance standards in HVAC operations.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools, along with a solid understanding of CAD systems.
