Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing & Vendor Development professional with strong expertise in the Machining category. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost optimization, and vendor management within Automotive or Consumer Durables industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and vendor development for Machining commodities.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and localization initiatives.
• Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, and contract finalization.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure timely procurement and supplier readiness for new product launches.

Requirements

• 7–14 years of experience in Sourcing/Vendor Development with a strong focus on Machining.
• Experience from Automotive or Consumer Durables organizations (Major OEMs/Tier-1 companies preferred).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
