Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the complete PMC assignment covering Transmission Lines, HVAC Substations and HVDC Terminal Stations .

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, within the approved scope, schedule, budget, quality requirements and contractual framework. The role requires strong experience in project execution, planning, multidisciplinary coordination, stakeholder management, construction, commissioning and project controls .

Minimum Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
15+ years of overall experience , preferably with significant experience in HV transmission and substation projects .
Demonstrated experience in leading at least one major 400 kV / 765 kV transmission or substation project .
Experience in HVDC, GIS, large power transformers, reactors, control and protection systems will be preferred.
Working knowledge of project controls, contracts, quality management, HSE, procurement and commissioning .
Strong experience in project reporting, stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination .

Key Responsibilities

Act as the principal point of contact between the Consultant, Client, EPC contractors, OEMs and other stakeholders .
Establish the Project Execution Plan, organization structure, responsibility matrix, communication protocol and reporting arrangements .
Lead mobilization and deployment of PMC resources across Transmission Line, Substation and HVDC Terminal Station packages.
Review and monitor contractor baseline schedules, procurement plans, construction plans and commissioning schedules .
Coordinate across Transmission Line, Substation, HVDC, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Protection, SCADA, Telecom, Quality, HSE and Contract teams .
Monitor overall progress against approved milestones and identify deviations, delays and recovery requirements.
Coordinate recovery and acceleration plans with contractors and ensure timely execution.
Review technical submissions, constructability issues, interface matters and constraints requiring management decisions.
Ensure effective implementation of the approved Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan and HSE Management System .
Lead periodic progress, technical, quality and HSE review meetings .
Review contractor claims, variations, extension-of-time submissions and change requests in coordination with the Contracts Manager and Planning Engineer.
Monitor project risks and maintain an updated risk register, mitigation plan and management action log .
Ensure timely resolution of ROW, access, crossing, outage, interface, land, statutory and stakeholder constraints .
Review recommendations for certification of contractor invoices, milestone payments and completion status.
Lead construction, pre-commissioning, energization, readiness and handover reviews .
Ensure timely close-out of punch points, NCRs, technical queries, as-built drawings, test records and completion dossiers.
Provide timely advice to the Client on technical, schedule, quality, HSE, contractual and commercial matters .
Manage PMC performance, workload allocation, succession planning and manpower requirements.
Ensure project decisions, instructions and approvals are properly documented and communicated.
