The Technical Superintendent is responsible for the overall
technical management of assigned vessels, ensuring safe,
efficient, and cost-effective operations in full compliance
with corporate policies and international maritime
regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
1.
Technical Fleet Management
Managed the overall technical performance and operational
readiness of assigned marine vessels.
Ensured compliance with international maritime regulations
(STCW, IMO) and class requirements.
Coordinated with the Head of Technical Fleet Management on
fleet performance improvements and technical upgrades.

Vessel Maintenance & Reliability
Oversaw planned maintenance systems (PMS) to ensure timely
servicing and zero critical breakdowns.
Ensured vessels maintained class standards and certification
compliance at all times.
Monitored equipment performance, troubleshooting, and
preventive maintenance strategies.

Dry Docking & Repair Management
Assisted in dry dock planning, execution, and budgeting for
assigned vessels.
Supervised major repairs, overhauls, and retrofitting
activities.
Coordinated with shipyards, contractors, and repair
engineers to ensure timely completion of work.
4.
Spare Parts & Inventory Control
Ensured availability of critical spare parts and consumables
to minimize vessel downtime.
Managed procurement planning and vendor coordination for
cost-effective sourcing.
Maintained optimal inventory levels for smooth fleet
operations.

Claims & Compliance
Handled warranty and insurance claims, ensuring proper
documentation and timely submission.
