About the role
- Product Development – Conceptualization, Pricing and Development
- Filing of products with IRDA, liaising and getting approvals.
- Developing Pricing tools and methodologies
- Formulation of Company Level Underwriting framework and guidelines
- Portfolio Management (Retail & Group Insurances including Government & Rural Schemes)
- Liaising with TPA and other external agencies.
- Actively participate with senior management in defining strategies for the line of business
- Take lead in IT initiatives and process automation projects
- Training and development of sales & agency force teams on the product lines
- Coordinating with Operations and Claims for Inception, Policy Servicing and Claims settlement
- Coordination with local sales team in understanding and developing the risk profile of group policies for underwriting within the set guidelines.
- Regular review & analysis of the portfolio, with clarity on next steps & take corrective measures as & when required
- Manage renewals of the product line.
- To develop working relationships with Intermediaries, lead the team & manage stakeholders efficiently.
- Manage portfolio strategy & full P&L ownership and conduct regular reviews. Engage extensively with global stakeholders and maintained close collaboration with distribution teams.
