Job Description – Project Manager
Location: Gurugram

Position: Project Manager – Metal & Mining Projects

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Metal & Mining projects to lead and manage end-to-end project execution. The candidate should have hands-on experience in handling EPC/Industrial projects, stakeholder coordination, project planning, execution, and timely delivery while ensuring quality, safety, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage complete project lifecycle for Metal & Mining projects from planning to commissioning.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams for smooth project execution.
Prepare project schedules, resource planning, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Handle client communication, project reporting, and progress review meetings.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Support tendering, contract management, and vendor coordination activities.
Manage site execution teams and resolve technical and operational challenges.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical, Mining, or Chemical Engineering (Full-time recognized degree).
PMP certification will be an added advantage.

Experience Required:

7 to 14 years of experience in Project Management within Metal & Mining / EPC / Heavy Industrial projects.
Strong exposure to plant projects such as steel plants, mineral processing plants, beneficiation plants, pellet plants, smelters, or mining infrastructure projects.
Experience in handling multidisciplinary project teams.
Knowledge of project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.
Strong understanding of contracts, project controls, budgeting, and scheduling.
