Senior Electromechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electromechanical Engineer with 12–20 years of relevant experience in the engineering, design, and consultancy environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electromechanical systems , feasibility studies, preliminary engineering calculations, tender documentation, technical specifications, and review of vendor/manufacturer documents during the detailed design stage.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling engineering deliverables and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare feasibility studies and reports for electromechanical projects, including preliminary engineering calculations and technical assessments.
• Develop preliminary engineering concepts and evaluate suitable technical solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare tender documents , including technical specifications, scope of work, equipment requirements, and engineering deliverables.
• Review and evaluate technical bids, vendor proposals, and manufacturer documentation.
• Review manufacturer/vendor reports, drawings, calculations, datasheets, and technical documents during the detailed design stage.
• Ensure vendor documents comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines for integrated project execution.
• Provide technical inputs for equipment selection, system design, and engineering calculations.
• Identify technical risks, design constraints, and potential issues during feasibility and detailed engineering stages.
• Support clients/project teams in resolving technical queries and reviewing design-related issues.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and equipment manufacturers.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within project schedules and meet required quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with applicable international codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering .
• 12–20 years of relevant experience in electromechanical engineering, preferably within engineering consultancy, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or similar projects.
• Strong experience in feasibility studies and preliminary engineering calculations .
• Proven experience in preparation of tender documents and technical specifications .
• Hands-on experience in reviewing manufacturer/vendor reports and technical documents during the detailed design stage .
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
• Strong technical report writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage engineering activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
