Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Azure Data Engineer
with strong hands-on experience in
Microsoft Fabric
to build and operate scalable data and integration platforms. The role
involves data ingestion, transformation, business logic implementation, data
quality, and delivering curated datasets for analytics and downstream
applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data solutions using
Microsoft Fabric and OneLake
.

Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines using
Fabric Data Factory/Pipelines, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse
Pipelines, PySpark, Python, and SQL
.

Build API-driven and scheduled workflows for data ingestion and downstream
processing.

Integrate data from
cloud, on-premise databases, third-party systems, files, REST/SOAP APIs
.
-
Implement API authentication, pagination, throttling, retries, and error
handling.
-
Develop curated and consumption-ready data layers and models.
-
Write and optimize complex
SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and datasets
.

Perform performance tuning across
Spark, ADF Data Flows, and SQL workloads
.

Implement business rules, validations, exception handling, audit logging,
and data consistency checks.

Build automated
data quality, validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
frameworks.

Implement secure access using
Azure AD, Managed Identity, RBAC, and least-privilege access
.

Support
CI/CD and deployment automation
using Azure DevOps and Git.
-
Monitor pipelines and jobs, troubleshoot failures, perform RCA, and improve
platform reliability.

Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, analysts, and data scientists
in an
Agile/Scrum
environment.

Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.

Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data quality experience.
