Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with experience in
US Insurance Statutory Reporting
and
Statistical Reporting
to support quarterly and annual regulatory reporting activities. The role
involves preparation and review of
NAIC statutory schedules and exhibits
, statutory close activities, reconciliations, regulatory filings, and
coordination with auditors/regulators.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of
US STAT accounting principles
, insurance regulatory reporting requirements, and hands-on experience with
NAIC filings, ISO reporting, surplus/statistical reporting
, and financial reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyze
US NAIC statutory schedules and exhibits
.

Perform
roll forwards, reconciliations, variance analysis
, and
GL tie-outs
for statutory reporting.

Support
quarterly and annual statutory close
processes.
-
Prepare and post
journal entries
and ensure accuracy/completeness of financial data.
-
Execute and validate internal controls, documentation, and reporting
procedures.

Ensure timely completion of all regulatory filing deliverables and
compliance timelines.

Assist during
NAIC, ISO, domiciliary regulator, State, and external audits/examinations
.

Prepare and file
ISO, Surplus, and other statistical reports
.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Accounting, Finance,
Actuarial, Compliance, and Audit teams.

Identify reporting discrepancies and support remediation/process improvement
initiatives.

Maintain documentation supporting statutory and statistical reporting
submissions.

Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within reporting
processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of
US Statutory Accounting (STAT)
and insurance regulatory reporting.

Hands-on experience with:

Journal entries and variance analysis

Knowledge of
US Insurance industry
