Job responsibilities:

The role is responsible for Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Procurement for Solar and Wind projects, covering Supply of items, services sourcing, costing, vendor development, market Intelligence, and supplier relationship management. responsible to build a reliable, cost-effective supply chain, continuously driving cost reduction while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the O&M Team, Project Finance, Design and Engineering team, Construction management and material planning teams to understand wind and solar project timelines and related constraints. Lead identifying, selecting, and qualifying suppliers/contractors for non-project specific standard framework agreements including strategic fit, payment terms, cost roadmap, cycle time reduction, EHS, quality, capacity planning of the region’s long-term demand.

• Coordinate RFP process, organize pre-bid conferences, manage the review of bids from multiple suppliers /contractors for conformity to contract requirements and determine acceptable bids.

• Maintain close relationships with multiple suppliers/contractors to negotiate and execute contracts within project budget, ensure proper documentation and order confirmations.

• Managing contracts within budgeted cost

• Communicate results to all team’s management in a clear, concise manner.

• Communicate the Weekly/Daily MIS & results related to O&M orders/issues to all team members and management in a clear, concise manner.

Coordinate with legal counsel for litigation and participate in the amendment, termination, and renegotiation of contracts.

• Understand and uphold internal and external polices, regulations and laws.

• Understands cost structure and knowledge of supply base of various electrical systems used in power plants.

• Knowledge of land, electrical and civil engineering will be an additional advantage.

• Handling of claims management and Contract’s closure.
