Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
2. Ensure smooth operation of PDC (Pressure Die Casting) machines and related equipment.
3. Maintain production quality standards and reduce rejection/rework levels.
4. Monitor die casting parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time and metal flow.
5. Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
6. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency and cost control.
7. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
8. Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions.
9. Maintain production records, reports and shift-wise performance data.
10. Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S and company policies on the shop floor.
11. Coordinate with Quality, Tool Room and Maintenance departments for smooth production flow.
12. Train operators and technicians on process parameters, safety and work instructions.
13. Monitor inventory of consumables, dies and production materials.
14. Support new product development, trial runs and process validation activities.
15. Work towards achieving KPI targets such as OEE, rejection control, productivity and downtime.
