Job Title: Finance Leader

Department: Finance & Accounts 

Reporting To : Management / Director 

Location: Jeevan Rekha Hospital, Raiganj 

Experience: 6+ years 

Job Summary: The Head – Finance will be responsible for leading and strengthening the hospital’s finance function end to end. This role goes beyond routine accounting and focuses on audits, cash positioning, financial analytics, future project planning, and strategic financial suggestions to management. The role requires a hands-on leader who can guide the finance team while working closely with management on growth, control, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Departmental Audits

· Conduct regular internal audits across departments to ensure financial discipline and compliance.

· Identify leakages, inefficiencies, and control gaps and recommend corrective actions.

· Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory and internal audits.

Finance Operations

· Oversee accounting, billing, collections, payments, and statutory compliances.

· Ensure timely closure of books, accuracy of financial records, and compliance with applicable laws.

· Supervise and guide the finance and accounts team.

Cash Positioning and Control

· Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances, and working capital requirements.

· Plan cash positioning to ensure smooth hospital operations.

· Optimize fund utilization and control unnecessary expenses.

Future Projects and Financial Planning

· Support management in financial planning for expansion, new services, and future projects.

· Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial feasibility reports.

· Evaluate financial risks and returns for upcoming initiatives.

Analytics and Reporting

· Develop financial dashboards, MIS, and analytical reports for management review.

· Analyze revenue trends, cost patterns, profitability, and department-wise performance.

· Provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

Suggestions and Strategic Support

· Act as a financial advisor to management by providing practical, actionable suggestions.

· Recommend process improvements, cost optimization strategies, and revenue enhancement ideas.

· Participate in leadership discussions and contribute to overall business strategy.

Qualifications

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

· CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
