Role Overview 
We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal professional with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in Litigation and Securities Laws. The incumbent will be responsible for managing legal disputes, representing organizational interests before various judicial and regulatory forums, coordinating with external counsels, and providing legal advisory support on matters relating to securities market regulations and related laws. 

Key Responsibilities 
•    Handle litigation matters before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities, including but not limited to SEBI, SAT, High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, Consumer Forums, and Arbitration proceedings. 
•    Draft, review, and vet legal notices, replies, affidavits, petitions, written submissions, applications, and other legal documents. 
•    Liaise and coordinate with external advocates, counsels, and regulatory authorities for effective handling of litigation matters. 
•    Monitor ongoing litigations and maintain litigation databases, case trackers, and MIS reports. 
•    Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, dispute resolution strategies, and litigation management. 
•    Interpret and provide legal opinions on securities laws, exchange regulations, and allied corporate laws. 
•    Handle regulatory matters involving SEBI, Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, Depositories Act, and related rules/regulations. 
•    Conduct legal research on emerging regulatory developments, judicial precedents, and enforcement actions impacting the securities market. 
•    Support internal teams in responding to regulatory notices, investigations, inspections, and enforcement proceedings. 
•    Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and assist in policy formulation from a legal and regulatory perspective. 
•    Represent the organization in discussions with regulators, legal consultants, and other stakeholders, whenever required. 


Educational Qualification 
•    LLB (Full-time) from a recognized university. 
•    LLM and Company Secretary (CS) qualification will be an added advantage. 
Experience 
•    Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in litigation and dispute resolution. 
•    Experience in handling matters relating to Securities Laws and Regulatory Litigation is essential. 
•    Prior experience with stock exchanges, depositories, SEBI-regulated entities, law firms, or financial institutions will be preferred. 
Knowledge & Expertise 
•    Strong understanding of:  
•    SEBI Act, 1992 
•    Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 
•    Depositories Act, 1996 
•    SEBI Regulations (LODR, PIT, ICDR, SAST, etc.) 
•    Companies Act, 2013 
•    Arbitration and dispute resolution mechanisms 
•    Familiarity with regulatory proceedings, investigations, and enforcement actions.
