Quality Engineer - Kadi

Position: Quality Engineer – Layout Inspection & Fixture Validation
Experience: 2 – 5 Years
Location: Kadi, Mehsana, Gujarat
Work Mode: On-site
Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in quality inspection, layout inspection, fixture validation, and gauge calibration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of precision measuring instruments and be comfortable working in a manufacturing/plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform layout inspection and dimensional inspection of components as per drawings and specifications.
• Conduct fixture validation and ensure fixtures are accurate and suitable for production requirements.
• Perform and maintain records of gauge calibration and validation .
• Inspect components using various precision measuring instruments.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, measurement records, and quality documentation.
• Identify dimensional and quality deviations and coordinate with production/engineering teams for corrective actions.
• Ensure measuring instruments are properly maintained and calibrated within the required frequency.
• Support quality improvement and process-control activities on the shop floor.
• Follow applicable quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

Required Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Quality Inspection and Layout Inspection .
• Hands-on experience in Fixture Validation .
• Knowledge of Gauge Calibration and calibration records.
• Working knowledge of instruments such as:
  • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
  • Contour/Surface Roughness Tester
  • Vernier Caliper
  • Micrometer
  • Height Gauge
  • Bore Gauge
  • Other precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensions, and tolerances .
• Good knowledge of basic quality tools and inspection procedures.

Candidate Profile

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Quality/Inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work 6 days a week, on-site at the plant.
