IBBS Platform & Primary Market Business | Mumbai

Role Overview 

The incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth and increasing the market share of the Issue Bidding and Booking System (IBBS) Platform, while strengthening BSE's position as the preferred Designated Stock Exchange (DSE) for IPOs and other primary market offerings. The role involves extensive interaction with market intermediaries, banks, issuers, merchant bankers, and internal stakeholders to enhance platform adoption and business development. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Development & Market Expansion 

• Drive adoption of the IBBS Platform for IPOs, OFS, Rights Issues, Buybacks, and Open Tender Offers.
• Increase BSE's market share as the Designated Stock Exchange for public issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with Merchant Bankers, Investment Bankers, Brokers, Registrars, Banks, and Listed Companies.
• Identify new business opportunities and onboard prospective market participants.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and awareness sessions to promote BSE's primary market offerings.

Stakeholder Management 

• Act as a single point of contact for market participants using the IBBS Platform.
• Liaise with issuers, bankers, brokers, RTAs, and merchant bankers to address business and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Technology, Operations, Listing, Membership, and Compliance teams.

Regulatory & Compliance 

• Monitor SEBI regulations, exchange circulars, and primary market developments.
• Analyze the impact of regulatory changes on IBBS operations and business activities.
• Guide market participants on regulatory and operational requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Exchange rules, SEBI guidelines, and internal SOPs.

Product & Platform Development 

• Gather market feedback and recommend enhancements to improve platform efficiency.
• Work closely with the Technology team to implement platform enhancements and process improvements.
• Participate in testing and deployment of technology upgrades.

Analytics & Reporting 

• Track market share, transaction volumes, and platform utilization.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Prepare MIS reports, business dashboards, and management presentations.
• Provide analytical insights to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
