ABOUT THE ROLE
Jeevan Rekha Hospital is looking for a Chartered Accountant who combines strong financial expertise with business thinking, analytical ability and a growth-oriented mindset.
This role is not limited to accounting and compliance. The candidate will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial systems, identify business opportunities, improve operational efficiency, support strategic decision-making and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finance, Financial Analysis & MIS
• Oversee financial reporting, accounting controls, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Develop meaningful MIS and management dashboards for leadership.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, working capital and business performance.
• Identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities and present actionable insights to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning. - Focused Audit & Internal Controls
• Plan and conduct focused, risk-based internal audits across key business functions.
• Identify financial leakages, process gaps, control weaknesses and operational risks.
• Work with respective departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track audit findings to closure and measure the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with statutory, tax and other external auditors. - Business Strategy & Company Growth
• Work closely with senior management on business planning and growth initiatives.
• Analyse new business opportunities, investments, expansion plans and their financial viability.
• Prepare financial models, business cases and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimisation and process improvement.
• Translate financial data into practical business recommendations. - Cross-Functional Leadership
• Lead and collaborate with teams across Finance, HR, Administration, Operations, Procurement, Billing, Pharmacy, Diagnostics and other departments.
• Drive finance-related projects that require coordination across multiple functions.
• Communicate financial concepts and business insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Build accountability and ownership for financial processes across departments. - Healthcare Revenue & Business Operations
• Analyse revenue streams across OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, insurance, TPA and government schemes.
• Monitor receivables, cashless claims, collections and revenue reconciliation.
• Identify revenue leakage and opportunities to improve collection efficiency.
• Work with operational teams to improve financial and business performance. - AI, Automation & Digital Transformation
• Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to improve finance, reporting, audit and business processes.
• Ability to work with AI tools and AI agents to automate repetitive workflows and reporting.
• Build, test and improve AI agents/automations for business and finance use cases.
• Identify opportunities where technology can reduce manual work, improve accuracy and accelerate decision-making.
• Develop a culture of data-driven and technology-enabled working within the finance function. - Statutory & Tax Compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and financial records.
• Coordinate with statutory authorities, consultants and auditors wherever required.
• Keep management informed about relevant regulatory and financial developments.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, audit and financial management .
• Strong business acumen with an ability to understand the organisation beyond financial numbers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse large datasets and convert them into actionable insights.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present data and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, MIS and management reporting.
• Ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working with AI tools, automation platforms and AI agents.
• Willingness and ability to build AI agents/automated workflows for practical business applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• High level of integrity, ownership and confidentiality.
• Healthcare/hospital finance experience will be an added advantage.
