About the role
Role : Contract Manager - SCM
Location : Bangalore HO
Responsibilities :
- Drafting of contracts related to renewable power projects such as wind supply and service agreements, solar supply and service agreements, module supply agreements, BESS agreement, O&M Agreement, EHV/33kV line agreements.
- Reviewing and negotiating special and general conditions of contract with vendors.
- Monitoring contractual obligations such as bank guarantee (renewals/extensions), LCs, insurance, Warranties,
- Monitoring contractual, milestones, deliverables, and payment terms.
- Drafting and sending contractual correspondences to vendors in relation to contractual compliances.
- Managing variations, claims, extensions of time, and commercial disputes.
- Ensuring proper documentation and compliance with approved contractual terms.
- Coordinating with procurement, project, finance, legal, and engineering teams for the entire contract life cycle.
- Protecting the company’s commercial interests and reducing contractual and execution-related risks.
Desired experience and expertise:
- 8-15 years of relevant experience
- BE/B. Tech-EE/EC/ME/MBA-Contract management/NICMAR.
