Job Description:

Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) installation, erection, and commissioning activities at project sites. The role includes supervision of mechanical works, coordination with contractors, and safe handling & movement of materials.

Job responsibilities- 

· Coordinate with the Civil team, Land Team for the WTG Erection Front availability, Site readiness for WTG movement.

· Zero point and WTG storage management.

· Erection team development, coaching

· Synchronization of Erection Plans & Schedules with Project Plan.

· Monitoring & Controlling of WTG installation and commissioning Progress

· WTG Erection and Commissioning Resources planning and vendor management.

· Optimal resource utilization (Man, Tools, Materials, Cranes and Subcontractors)

· Accountable for the timely completion of WTG Mechanical completion, Pre commissioning.

· Implementation of CAPA – Open WTG matters

· Reporting & Closure of NCRs

· WTG Closure of Punch list items

· Accountable for the WTG Handover /TOC

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering 

• Experience Wind Projects
