Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead complete New Product Development lifecycle from RFQ to SOP (Start of Production).
• Prepare detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget control.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Design, Tooling, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to APQP timelines.

2. Customer Coordination

• Act as single point of contact for customers during development phase.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, technical standards, and special characteristics.
• Lead technical discussions, feasibility analysis, and risk assessment with customers.
• Ensure timely submission of PPAP documentation and approvals.
• Handling export customers.

3. Engineering & Process Development

• Drive process development for HPDC and CNC/VMC machining operations.
• Ensure proper selection and validation of dies, fixtures, tools, gauges, and inspection methods.
• Conduct PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow preparation.
• Oversee trial runs, sample development, capability studies, and process validation.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and customer-specific requirements.
• Drive risk mitigation through APQP, FMEA, and MSA.
• Ensure smooth PPAP submission and approval.
• Support resolution of technical and quality concerns during development phase.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of HPDC process and CNC/VMC machining.
• Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and 7 QC tools.
• Project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and automotive quality standards.
• Costing and budgeting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• Problem-solving and risk management ability.
