Store Manager

Total Exp : 9+ years of store or warehouse experience in solar, wind, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects

Qualification : Diploma / Degree/ BE in any discipline, preferably supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related field

The Stores Manager will be responsible for managing all site store operations for solar and/or wind project sites, including receipt, storage, issue, reconciliation, documentation, and inventory control of project materials. The role ensures material availability, accurate records, safe handling, and coordination with project, procurement, logistics, and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end site store operations, including inward, storage, issue, and dispatch of materials
• Maintain accurate inventory of project materials such as modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, blades, towers, nacelles, and other site consumables/ Batteries.
• Ensure timely availability of materials aligned with project schedules and work fronts
• Verify GRN, MRN, delivery challans, packing lists, and other material documents
• Track stock movement, shortages, excess inventory, and reorder requirements
• Coordinate with procurement, project execution, engineering, logistics, and contractors for material readiness
• Conduct periodic stock verification, reconciliation, and audit support
• Maintain safe storage and handling practices for heavy, sensitive, and high-value equipment
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material consumption reports and MIS
• Supervise store assistants, helpers, and material handling staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to stock levels, inbound/outbound materials, and consumption reports.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and supplies in line with project schedules.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to track stock movement and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of physical stock vs. system records

Desired qualifications

• Diploma / Degree/ BE in any discipline, preferably supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of store or warehouse experience in solar, wind, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, material documentation, and site-level store processes
• Skills required

• Basic ERP / SAP / Excel knowledge.
