About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager / AGM – Accounts & Finance
to lead and manage the finance and accounting function for our automotive
parts manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered
Accountant with strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, taxation,
GST, statutory/internal audits, and balance sheet management, preferably
within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Balance Sheet

Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities.

Take ownership of Balance Sheet preparation, review, reconciliation, and
finalization.

Ensure accuracy and timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books
of accounts.

Review provisions, accruals, depreciation, inter-company balances,
receivables, payables, and other accounting schedules.

Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards / Ind AS and company
accounting policies.

Provide financial insights and analysis to management for decision-making.
2. Direct & Indirect Taxation
-
Must have strong hands-on experience in both Direct and Indirect Taxation.

Manage and oversee direct tax compliances, including Income Tax, TDS,
assessments, notices, and related matters.

Handle indirect tax matters, including GST compliance, reconciliations,
returns, assessments, notices, and departmental queries.

Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and statutory compliances.

Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities, wherever required.

Identify tax risks and opportunities and ensure effective tax planning and
compliance.
3. GST
-
Oversee end-to-end GST compliance across corporate and plant operations.

Review GST returns, input tax credit reconciliations, e-invoicing/e-way bill
compliance, and related records.

Monitor GST reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Handle GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental queries.

Ensure proper GST accounting and documentation.
4. Audit & Internal Controls

Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other
financial audits.

Drive timely closure of audit observations and ensure implementation of
corrective actions.

Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
-
Ensure adequate controls across corporate and plant-level financial
operations.

Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
