Designation : Assistant Manager - NPD (Sheet Metal & Frame)

Total Exp : 9-12 years in experience in part development in automobile industry 

Qualification : 9-12 Years Diploma / 2 - 4 years B.Tech - Mechanical / Production / Automobile 

Location : Gurgaon 

Job Purpose : 

Execute the New Product Development (NPD) activities for the Frame, Sheet metal, Tubular & Welded part & assemblies across frame category for Commuter, Scooter, Premium, and EV models.
This scope of work includes:
  - Design feasibility studies
  - Process development
  - Quality assurance visits
  - Facilitating vehicle production trials
  - Testing and validation
  - New Supplier Evaluation
  - Resolving development and production issues.

Job  Details : 

1. Analysing part drawings and specifications, Feasibility study, Process audits, to  to confirm part mfg. feasibility & Development

2. Part Development & Verification 

   a) Dimensional & functional inspection & Verification of parts.

   b) Confirmation of regulation compliance.

   c) Testing & simulation results verification & analysis

   d) Problem Analysis , actions and corrective measures implementation

   3.  Process Audit & validation, PPAP

   Approval : Part approval & QAV 

   4. Process establishment with PQCS , PFMEA, Run@rate, CP-CPK review

   5. New Supplier Evaluation & Process Upgradation.

   6. Analysing and interpreting test reports and track issues and defect management in integrated toolchain.

   Use CAN tool chains to simulate signals across different vehicle Electronic Control Units, to perform individual component validation & generate reports for the same.
