Job Description – Process Engineer (Automotive)

Responsible for planning, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure smooth production, high quality, and cost efficiency. 

Designation: Assistant Engineer / Engineer – Process Engineering 
Industry: Automotive 
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Shop floor layout. Space optimization.

• Continual improvement in shop floor layout.

• Good knowledge on Lean Manufacturing.

• Identifying cost reduction opportunities and execution.

• Machine specifications finalization and Machines selection.

• Machine commissioning and prove out.

• Time and motion study (cycle time).

• Takt time and cycle time chart preparation.

• Capacity calculations of Machines.

• Preparation of annual budget and plan for capital expenditure.

• Computer proficiency Autocad & MS Office.

• Exposure to basic quality tools, APQP and PPAP.

• Exposure to TS/IS 16949 / IATF documentation.
