ROLE SUMMARY:

A management role responsible for overseeing Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Internal Control, Plant finance operations (including, Invoicing, AR/AP, Inventory) for Nagata Group’s India entities. The role demands strong financial acumen, team handling, stakeholder management, and ability to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management & Reporting

· Manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes in compliance with INDAS and applicable statutory requirements.

· Ensure timely closure of books and readiness for Statutory, Tax and Internal audits.

· Consolidate and analyse monthly MIS, financial results, and cost variances.

· Review and approval of various vouchers

· Ensure plant-level cost center accounting and expense tracking to support operational efficiency.

· Monitor and report production variances, scrap, idle time, and overhead absorption to support manufacturing cost control.

· Controlling AR/AP and inventory.

Budgeting, Planning & Costing

· Monitor budget vs actuals and recommend corrective actions.

· Drive cost optimization initiatives and implement effective cost control mechanisms.

Treasury & Fund Management

· Monitor cash flows and liquidity positions.

· Ensure timely disbursement

· Coordinate with plant stores and procurement for tracking GRN to Payment cycles to improve working capital turnover.

Taxation & Compliance

· Oversee compliance with Direct & Indirect Tax laws (Income Tax, GST, Customs, etc.).

· Ensure timely return filings and handling assessments or notices in coordination with consultants.

· Ensure compliance with tax norms like TDS/ TCS, E-way bills, job work compliance under GST, and reconciliation with SAP systems.

Internal Controls & Process Improvements

· Design and implement robust internal controls and process improvements.

· Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

· Implement control checks for inventory reconciliation, consumption tracking, and capital asset verification at plant level.

STRATEGIC & STAKEHOLDER INTERFACE

· Engage with senior leadership to support strategic decisions with financial insights.

· Maintain good relationships with bankers, auditors, consultants, and regulators.

· Liaise actively with Plant Head, Production, and Maintenance teams to align financial strategies with operational goals.

· Represent finance in cross-functional initiatives including CSR, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
