Senior Manager – Business Solutions
Core Responsibilities
1. Work with various functional teams to understand business use cases and design holistic functional solutions, offering multiple options based on feasibility and impact.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels (CXOs to the Branch Managers) to gather individual requirements and consolidate them into comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
3. Develop a deep understanding of current products and applications to identify improvement opportunities and create clear, actionable execution plans.
4. Interface with the delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the functional intent is preserved.
5. Own the project plan across the entire product lifecycle—from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and tracking milestones to closure.
6. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders to validate that the delivered product or feature achieves the desired business value.
7. Manage integrations and custom development activities by working closely with external partners and technology vendors.
8. Work closely with the Technical Architect & Delivery Lead in "Build vs. Buy" evaluations for major feature developments, performing detailed product assessments and providing data-driven recommendations.
9. Perform regular market and competitor research to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the product and application landscape.
10. Mentor and guide junior team members, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
Core Skills Required
1. Deep domain expertise in the Indian retail lending and payments space, with a track record of successful engagements in these sectors.
2. Hands-on experience with major LOS / LMS solutions and at least one primary payment ecosystem is mandatory.
3. Prior experience working within core product companies, specifically those focused on LOS, LMS, or Payment domain products, is preferable.
4. Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across the hierarchy, including CxO level executives, to drive consensus and clarity.
5. Excellent communication and articulation skills, with the ability to simplify complex functional requirements.
6. A high degree of self-motivation, a bias for action, and the ability to work as a collaborative team player across multiple functions.
7. Strong proficiency in various software delivery lifecycles, with specific expertise in pure-play Agile delivery models.
8. 9 to 10 years of professional experience, preferably within product-based organizations.
9. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, complemented by an MBA in a relevant field of study
