Responsibilities
Drive the architectural strategy for the company’s lending platforms, evaluating and recommending the optimal mix between custom "high-code" development and Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms based on business and scalability needs.
Do trade-off analysis between .NET/React custom builds and low-code implementations, ensuring the chosen approach aligns with long-term technology strategy and cost-efficiency.
Oversee the company’s technology ecosystem involving core product implementations, custom applications, and seamless integrations with external partners, including banks, service providers, and FinTech aggregators.
Convert functional requirements into technical specifications and designs that orchestrate data flow across hybrid environments (In-house code vs. third-party products).
Provide technical oversight and delivery ownership for deliverables from outsourced technology partners, ensuring third-party code and configurations meet internal architectural standards.
Schedule and lead regular architecture review meetings to keep the technical landscape with the overall technology strategy, managing the dependencies between legacy systems, contemporary technology platforms, and low-code modules.
Act as the technical liaison for external stakeholders, managing integrations with banking APIs, payment gateways, and statutory platforms in compliance with the regulatory and audit entities.
Support production and functional teams by troubleshooting integration issues across multi-vendor environments and ensuring timely resolution of system bottlenecks.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation that maps the interdependencies between custom code, product configurations, and external partner interfaces.
Role Requirements
Expert hands-on experience and the ability to switch between high-code development and low-code platform orchestration:
High-Code Stack: .NET Core, C#, React JS (mandatory), JavaScript (ES6+), Java (preferred), RESTful/SOAP APIs, MS SQL, Oracle.
Frameworks/Architecture: MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, Microservices, and API Gateway management.
Demonstrated experience in evaluating, implementing, or managing Low-Code Development Platforms (LCDP) and integrating them into a traditional enterprise setup.
Proven background in the India retail lending market, specifically with LOS/LMS product implementations and India Stack integrations (e-KYC, NACH, Account Aggregator).
Strong experience in vendor management and technical governance of outsourced development partners and external service providers.
Ability to design responsive applications and navigate complex integration patterns across a fragmented product-and-code landscape.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer applications from a Tier-1 or 2 college.
9-10 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion spent managing hybrid architecture or complex system integrations.
Excellent communication and articulation skills, with a focus on justifying architectural trade-offs to business stakeholders and external partners.
