About the role
BSW Configuration Senior Engineer (JD attached for your reference)
Experience: 5-8 years
Skill: Adaptive Autosar C++ and QNX OS
BSW SoC and Hypervisor Engineer
Experience: 10–12 years
NOTE: please focus on profiles that demonstrate working-level knowledge of QNX/Hypervisors or Linux. While several candidates mention QNX/Linux in their resumes, during discussions it became evident that their exposure was largely limited to running applications on the OS, rather than working at a low-level OS or platform layer.
During your conversations with candidates, please assess whether they have hands-on experience in areas such as:
- QNX/Linux OS internals
- OS bring-up and startup management
- Partition and resource management
- BSP integration
- Network configuration
- Boot KPIs
- IPC mechanisms
- Proxy management and configuration
These are generic OS-level topics, and while we do not expect candidates to have experience across all of them, they should have reasonable exposure to at least a few.
It would also be helpful to identify whether candidates come from Platform teams or Application teams—profiles with platform team experience are more suitable for our requirements.
We are not looking for deep expertise at this stage; however, candidates should have sufficient foundational knowledge to quickly adapt to our work environment, which is only possible if they have prior exposure to these OS-level concepts.
