Lead Engineer - IAM

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our development team in Bangalore. As a key member of the engineering organization, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade software applications aligned with business and technical objectives.

What You Will Do

- Design, evaluate, and implement scalable and secure software solutions.

- Enhance and maintain existing products with emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.

- Work with product management to refine functional and non-functional requirements.

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk analysis.

- Drive continuous improvement within Agile development processes.

- Collaborate with SRE, Cybersecurity, and QA teams to meet delivery goals.

- Provide technical direction and mentorship to software engineers.

- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and scalable code following best practices.

Requirements

Identity, Authentication & Authorization (Mandatory)

- Proven experience building RBAC systems using Keycloak.

- Experience building an internal Permissions API managing users, groups, and authorization policies.

- Strong understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT.

- Experience integrating applications with Keycloak, Okta, or Azure AD B2C.

Feature Flags, Infrastructure & Platform

- Experience implementing feature flags (e.g., Unleash).

- Experience with Terraform.

Technical Expertise

- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.

- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Azure PaaS.

- Hands-on experience building applications using Microservices Architecture.

- Experience with Azure messaging services.

- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases.

- Experience with xUnit or JUnit testing frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with Git and version control best practices.

Software Delivery & Professional Skills

- Experience working in Agile methodologies using Jira

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
