Sr. Liferay Developer

Ø   Strong experience in Liferay Portal / Liferay DXP development and architecture

Ø   Expertise in: Java, JSP,  Servlets and React

Ø   Liferay Service Builder, Custom Portlet Development (MVC, Spring MVC)

Ø   Hooks, EXT plugins, Themes, Layouts, Fragments

Ø   Deep knowledge of Liferay DXP architecture, module development (OSGi), and customization best practices

Ø   Hands-on with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and third-party integrations

Ø   Strong experience with Liferay Roles, Permissions, Workflow, and User Management

Ø   Experience in Liferay upgrades/migrations across versions (e.g., 6.x to 7.x / DXP)

Ø   Comfortable with Oracle / MySQL, proficient in SQL / PL-SQL

Ø   Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, and deployment processes

Ø   Proficient in version control systems (Git/SVN) and build tools (Maven, Gradle)

Ø   Experience in leading teams, code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring juniors

Ø   Exposure to Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams

Ø   Experience in integrating and configuring Elasticsearch for Liferay search and indexing

Ø   Proficient in using Jira for managing development tasks, tracking issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum projects.
